Sten Kauber

Sten Kauber, a junior research fellow at MEDIT and a doctoral student at the Baltic Film, Media, and Arts School (BFM), Tallinn University, delves into the dynamics of film audience practices in Estonia through his PhD project. With an MA from the University of Helsinki, his research focuses on the relationship between film consumption patterns and industry strategies, including imagined affordances and audience practices. Sten contributes to the field as a prolific film reviewer for Estonia's major media outlets, assistant editor of the Baltic Screen Media Review, and a member of ECREA and the Estonian Association of Film Journalists, showcasing a dedicated engagement with audience research and media studies.
