Marta Materska-Samek
The Assistant Professor at the Department of Management, Media Economics and Advertising of the Jagiellonian University, researcher and experienced manager of research and development projects, an expert in the film and media industry, who has authored expert opinions and publications in the field of cultural and creative industries, pro-innovation policies and financing the development of the creative sector. Additionally, she lectures on strategic media management, entrepreneurship, new trends in management, as well as issues of culture and media economics. She is a laureate of the Doctus Małopolski program, a scholarship holder of the Government of the French Republic, Scholarship and Training Fund, Scholarships of the City of Krakow, and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in the field of culture management.
Furthermore, she is the Interim Director for Education at EIT Culture & Creativity and Chair of the Working Group for National Smart Specialisation no. 12 Intelligent Creative Technologies. Her name is also on the list of experts of the Polish National Center for Research and Development, the National Agency for Academic Exchange, and the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme.
