Lucija Gegić is a Research Assistant at the Department for Culture and Communication at the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) in Zagreb, Croatia. She graduated in 2022 with a double major in Croatian Language and Literature and Sociology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. Her research focuses on social movements, popular culture, and theories of everyday life. Lucija is involved in the HORIZON Europe project CresCine and the CULTMED project on cultural and media policies. She has presented at international conferences and participated in research exchanges and internships in Ljubljana and Graz.
