Propeler Film
Propeler Film production company was established in 2001 and its filmography today consists of almost fifty fiction and documentary films that have over the past two decades won more than 150 international film awards, together with a significant number of co-productions. Less conventional projects like Sex, Booze Short Fuse, and Zagreb Stories opened the doors to international festivals for many Croatian first-time filmmakers. Projects are jointly produced by Boris T. Matić and Lana Matić with the support of many ongoing associates and their primary mission is to carefully select those projects that promote groundbreaking filmmakers.
The Propeler Film team has also launched and implemented the projects like Zagreb Film Festival and two VoD platforms. The Croatian.film platform provides an overview of Croatian short film production and Kino Europa Online features a selection of contemporary international auteur cinema.
Propeler Film champions creative expressions and builds solid bridges between auteur film and audience through all the available forms of distribution and promotion.
